Frances Nutter-Upham has a master's degree in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University (formerly Lesley College) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has worked for The Boston Institute for Arts Therapy, Home Health and Hospice of Nashua, and as an outreach therapist for South Bay Mental Health of Lowell, MA. In addition to Focal Point Counseling, Ms. Nutter-Upham is currently a staff clinician at Lowell Youth Treatment Center.

Ms. Nutter-Upham is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in New Hampshire, and a registered Art Therapist. Fran has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. She has worked in homeless shelters, community outreach, therapeutic after-school programs, public schools, hospice care, and state and private psychiatric hospitals.
